Code ‘41’ is to be used where the student/applicant recently left secondary education and was admitted/selected solely on the basis of ATAR, Queensland overall position (OP) or International Baccalaureate aggregate score, regardless of whether this includes the consideration of adjustment factors such as equity or subject bonus points.
Code ‘42’ is to be used where the student/applicant recently left secondary education and was admitted/selected on the basis of ATAR, Queensland overall position (OP) or International Baccalaureate aggregate score, and some other criteria such as a portfolio, audition, extra test, early offer conditional on minimum ATAR, etc.
Code ‘43’ is to be used where the student/applicant recently left secondary education and neither ATAR nor Queensland overall position (OP) were a factor in the admission/selection and only other criteria were considered. For example, overseas assigned ranking or score, special consideration, portfolio alone, audition alone, school recommendation scheme with no minimum ATAR requirement. When student is undertaking a transition course while still attending secondary school use code '43'.
Code ‘40’ is to be used for students/applicants who did not recently leave secondary education and were not admitted on the basis of prior VET or higher education study.
