Webservice Alert

Verification of Unique Student Identifiers (USI) was re-triggered on Wednesday 18 January 2023 for all students with an unverified USI in TCSI (where the student has active unit enrolments on or after 1 January 2021).  


Please review the expiry dates of your B2B devices and renew the activation periods to ensure PRODA access will continue without disruption. Further information can be found in our PRODA guide.


API system codes follow the National API Standards. TCSI Validation codes are TCSI specific and can be found on the TCSI Validations page.

TCSI Data Entry

Providers are not able to view staff data they have reported via the TCSI Data Entry portal records screen. To view staff data that have been reported to TCSI please submit a data extract request.

TCSI Analytics

If you require production data from TCSI, that are not available from TCSI Analytics, please submit a data extract request.

Production environment

Re-commencing 10 February 2023 - production outages will occur every second week from 8.00 am - 10:00 am [AEDT]. TCSI services will be unavailable during the outage.

Release notes will be available following a major production release.

Test environment
Unplanned outage

An external TCSI developer experienced a security breach which included credentials for the TCSI test environment. The environment was disabled on 16 January 2023 so that impacts can be investigated. The test environment is undergoing assessment which is taking longer than anticipated. The team now expects to restore the environment before 3 February 2023. Further information will be shared at the 1 February drop-in session.

Regular deployments to the test environment are scheduled for 8.00 am – 9.30 am [AEDT] on Tuesdays.

Delays may be experienced assigning CHESSNs and verifying mock TFNs.
