Webservice Alert
Operating

The TLS server certificate that hosts the https://api.humanservices.gov.au endpoint for TCSI APIs, is changing from the current Entrust certificate authority, to DigiCert, at 8pm [AEDT] Thursday 9 April 2026. Your vendor will need to evaluate the trust configuration to determine if the certificate authority is supported by your software, as without appropriate trust, the API calls may fail.

The Commonwealth supported places (CSP) field of education codes reference tables have been updated for 2026, enabling Non-university providers to report units with a census date in 2026 courses with specified fields of education – E461: Field of education code/E462: Field of education supplementary code based on approved allocation of CSP places. 

PRODA

B2G APIs
Operating API system codes follow the National API Standards. TCSI Validation codes are TCSI specific and can be found on the TCSI Validations page.
TCSI Data Entry

TCSI Analytics

As of 2:00PM [AEST] Tuesday 7 April 2026, providers were experiencing errors when attempting to access the TCSI Data Entry Portal and TCSI Analytics. The issue has now been resolved.

Higher education providers may see inaccurate 2023 data in their 2025 verification reports. The purpose of the reports is to enable users to review and sign off 2025 data and not prior years. Please use the Expected trends dashboard and live reports if you require comparisons back to 2023.

Production environment
Operating

As of 2:00PM [AEST] Tuesday 7 April 2026, providers were experiencing errors when attempting to access the TCSI Data Entry Portal and TCSI Analytics. The issue has now been resolved.

The production release on Friday 10 April 2026 has been cancelled, and there will be no outage required to TCSI Data Entry or B2G APIs. The next production release will occur on Friday 24 April 2026 and will continue fortnightly thereafter. The regular releases require an outage to TCSI Data Entry and B2G APIs from 8.00am to 10.00am [AEDT].

Release notes will be available following a major production release.

Test environment
Operating

The issue preventing providers from reporting Gender Code (E315) = 'X' in the TCSI test environment has now been resolved.

Regular deployments to the test environment are scheduled for 8.00 am – 9.30 am [AEDT] fortnightly on a Tuesday.

Providers and TCSI developers can now apply to the test environment by completing the TCSI test account request.

Delays may be experienced when assigning CHESSNs and verifying mock TFNs.
