Webservice Alert
Operating

Verification of Unique Student Identifiers (USI) was re-triggered on Monday 09 December 2024 for all students with an unverified USI in TCSI (where the student has active unit enrolments on or after 1 January 2021).

TCSI Support will continue to monitor all in-scope students to ensure they were captured in the bulk re-triggering of USI verification.

TCSI Reference Data for 2025 reporting year

The following limits, caps, and reference data for 2025 has been updated in TCSI:

  • 2025 HELP Entitlement Limits: Updated 3 October 2024
  • Student Contribution Band Rates and StudentContributionBandASCED: Updated 31 October 2024
  • 2025 Provider OS-HELP Caps: Updated 18 December 2024

B2G APIs

The TCSI production environment underwent a planned outage for urgent maintenance from 3 pm to 4 pm [AEDT] on Thursday 19 December 2024. This maintenance resolved the partial outage that had impacted some providers from Friday, 6 December to Thursday, 19 December 2024.

API system codes follow the National API Standards. TCSI Validation codes are TCSI specific and can be found on the TCSI Validations page.

TCSI Data Entry

TCSI Analytics

The grouping by funding clusters in the CGS Clusters by Course Level report for 2024 data is encountering a display issue since 13 August 2024. This issue has been forwarded to our IT team for investigation as a matter of priority.

If you require production data from TCSI, that are not available from TCSI Analytics, please submit a data extract request.

Production environment
Operating

The TCSI production environment underwent a planned outage for urgent maintenance from 3 pm to 4 pm [AEDT] on Thursday 19 December 2024. This maintenance resolved the partial outage that had impacted some providers from Friday, 6 December to Thursday, 19 December 2024.

The next production release will occur on Friday 31 January 2025 and will continue fortnightly thereafter. The regular releases require an outage to TCSI Data Entry and B2G APIs from 8.00am to 10.00am [AEDT].

Release notes will be available following a major production release.

Test environment
Partial outage

Some providers have reported experiencing a partial outage in the TCSI Test environment since Monday 9 December 2024. TCSI Support is investigating this issue as a high priority.

From 10 December 2024, regular deployments to the test environment are scheduled for 8.00 am – 9.30 am [AEDT] on Tuesdays.

Providers and TCSI developers can now apply to the test environment by completing the TCSI test account request.

Delays may be experienced when assigning CHESSNs and verifying mock TFNs.
