On Tuesday, 9 June 2026, PRODA attributes for TCSI Analytics were updated. Providers are encouraged to review PRODA attributes as per the TCSI PRODA attributes update article in the TCSI May Newsletter 2026. For more information, please see the PRODA guide.

Please review the expiry dates of your B2B devices and renew the activation periods to ensure PRODA access will continue without disruption. Further information can be found in our PRODA guide.

B2G APIs
Operating API system codes follow the National API Standards. TCSI Validation codes are TCSI specific and can be found on the TCSI Validations page.
TCSI Data Entry
Unplanned Outage

As of 1:45PM [AEST] Friday 12 June 2026, some providers are experiencing 'SYSERR: An unexpected error occurred while communicating with the server' errors when attempting to access the "Home" and "History" tabs on the TCSI Data Entry portal. The "Records" tab is not affected for student data. The issue has been raised for investigation and resolution as a high priority.

An unplanned outage affecting files uploaded to TCSI Data Entry was resolved at 1.45pm (AEST) Thursday 11 June 2026. Files in the 'processing' status will be processed accordingly and do not need to be reuploaded. If you return 'System failure' messages from your files, please retry uploading the file, and if the issue continues please reach out to TCSIsupport@education.gov.au.

Planned outage for the TCSI Data Entry portal from 9 am [AEST] Saturday, 20 June 2026 to 5 pm [AEST] Sunday, 21 June 2026. During this outage file upload and the search function will be unavailable.

TCSI Analytics
Operating Please refer to the TCSI - Bulk Data Retrieval if you require production data from TCSI, that are not available from TCSI Analytics.
Production environment
Operating

Planned outage for the TCSI Data Entry portal from 9 am [AEST] Saturday, 20 June 2026 to 5 pm [AEST] Sunday, 21 June 2026. During this outage file upload and the search function will be unavailable.

The next production release will occur on Friday 5 June 2026 and will continue fortnightly thereafter. The regular releases require an outage to TCSI Data Entry and B2G APIs from 8.00am to 10.00am [AEST].

Release notes will be available following a major production release.

Test environment
Operating

Regular deployments to the test environment are scheduled for 8.00 am – 9.30 am [AEST] fortnightly on a Tuesday.

Providers and TCSI developers can now apply to the test environment by completing the TCSI test account request.

Delays may be experienced when assigning CHESSNs and verifying mock TFNs.
