This code must reflect the Australian postcode of the campus of the Provider where the course is being offered.
Applications and Offers only
This code must reflect the Australian postcode of the campus of the Higher Education provider where the applicant would be primarily undertaking the course of study. Where possible, the postcode should reflect the location of the campus rather than the postal address. If the course is taken externally or the location is not specified, then the postcode to be reported is that of the campus of the institution from where the course is administered.

Summary
Element 559 was included in the Higher Education Student data collection under the new policy and program initiatives introduced under the Opens in a new window: Higher Education Support Act 2003 (HESA) which was implemented in 2005. In 2010 its coding notes were modified to support its inclusion in the University Applications and Offers data collection. There have been updates to coding notes for consistency and clarity since.
