2023 PIR Student data Submission and Verification

Submission and Verification of 2023 PIR Student data is available in TCSI Analytics and must be completed by 13 September 2024. 

The Provider Information Request (PIR) data reporting is a request for information under Section 28 of the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency Act 2011 (TEQSA Act). All PIR providers must submit and verify the 2023 student data by the due date.  

The verification process gives you a final opportunity to check your data carefully, as changes cannot be made to 2023 student datasets after verification. Upon completion, it is a declaration that the 2023 student data for your organisation is complete, accurate and finalised.

Unlike previous data collections, for the 2023 PIR student data collection, PIR providers will be individually activated on a case-by-case basis. Providers are encouraged to use the live data reports to check their submissions. Once you are satisfied with the live data for your organisation, please request activation by emailing TCSIsupport@education.gov.au. TCSI Support will advise when your organisation has been activated to complete the verification and sign off process in TCSI Analytics. 

It is important that providers allocate enough time to prepare, submit and validate their data before the applicable deadline. Late reporting may result in a breach of the TEQSA Act with associated penalties and adversely impact the up-front payments tuition protection levy’s risk factor results and the levy amount payable.
