Labour Force Status Identifier is based on the Australian Bureau of Statistics, Standards for Social, Labour and Demographic Variables, 1999.
Students must be classified to a single labour force category based on the student’s own perception of their labour force activities.
Element 576 was included in the VET FEE‑HELP data collection in 2010 for inclusion in the VET Student Enrolment (VEN) submission. There have been no significant changes to this element since.
