Summary
Element 306 was included as part of the Higher Education Student data collection under the new policy and program initiatives introduced under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (HESA) which was implemented in 2005. It was removed from the Student Revisions, Electronic Commonwealth Assisted Students and the Revised Commonwealth Assisted Students files in 2008 as it was no longer required for submission with implementation of the Higher Education Provider Client Assistance Tool (HEPCAT). It was included in the CHESSN and VET CHESSN files from 2009.
In 2010 it was introduced to the University Applications and Offers data collection.
