2025 HEP student data verification
Verification of the ‘2025 higher education provider student data collection’ has been activated.
All higher education providers approved under the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (HESA) must verify and sign off their submitted 2025 student data by Friday 17 April 2026.
Verification is part of a provider’s reporting requirements under HESA. It is a declaration that your student data reported for 2025 are accurate. The department uses the verified data to reconcile your funding and to publish information on your organisation, including data on course completions and success rates.
The verification process gives you a final opportunity to check student data carefully, as changes cannot be made to the 2025 student dataset after the collection is finalised.

TCSI Analytics 'Verification' Uplift
The department has released enhancements to the verification pages in TCSI Analytics. These enhancements aim to make the interface more intuitive and support the user experience when verifying and signing off on TCSI collections.

Request for Information (RFI)
As part of the verification process, the department conducts a Request for Information (RFI) that seeks information on:
- your best contacts for student data verification
- your organisation's timeline for verifying and signing off the data by the deadline.
If you have not already done so, please respond to this RFI through the link below, in a single response for your organisation, by the RFI due date of Thursday 12 March 2026*.
*Please note the RFI due date is earlier than the verification due date.
