HELP loan limit
The HELP loan limit is a cap on the amount of HECS-HELP, FEE-HELP and VSL that a person can borrow. Students can access a higher limit ($152,700 in 2020) if they are enrolled in an eligible medicine, dentistry, veterinary science or aviation course. Other students can access a lower limit ($106,319 in 2020). The limits are indexed annually.
