Coding notes
The following additional codes are used in DEEWR datasets but were NOT reported by Higher Education /VET Provider:

If data other than “0” are reported for non-higher degree research students, HEPCAT will ignore this type of attendance being calculated from the students reported load.
Higher Education Providers only:
For Higher Degree Research (HDR) students, classification of type of attendance is based on the student’s own assessment not the student load.
For the Past Course Completions file, the code to be assigned for type of attendance relates to the final year of attendance.
