Coding notes
HEPs - Provision of data is required in both submissions (TACs - data is required in both preliminary and detailed submissions)
For the purpose of the Application and Offers collection, the intake date is the date the course commences which may differ to the date the student first starts studying in that course
Where the full details of the YYYY subfield cannot be provided the default is the current reference year
Code ‘00’ in MM subfield if the month commencing is unknown or not applicable
YYYYMM format:
- 1st 4 digits – Year sub-field (e.g. 2010)
- 2nd 2 digits – Month sub-field (e.g. 03)
